We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic, and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Interventional Pain Management Clinic. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions. This role requires strong clinical and procedural/interventional expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to improving quality of life through evidence-based care. This role supports physicians by conducting comprehensive assessments, managing ongoing treatment plans, assisting with procedure preparation and follow-up, and ensuring patients receive exceptional clinical care aligned with evidence-based pain management practices. The APP will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including physicians, behavioral health providers, physical therapy, and care coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients experiencing acute or chronic pain.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including interventional procedures, pharmacological therapies, and non-opioid pain management strategies.
Perform interventional pain management procedures such as trigger point injection, occipital nerve blocks, joint injections.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, behavioral health providers, Medical Assistants and other specialists, to ensure holistic care.
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records.
Adhere to state and federal regulations regarding controlled substances and opioid prescribing.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and clinic development efforts.
Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this role.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current state licensure as an APRN (with prescriptive authority) or Physician Assistant.
National certification (AANP/ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA).
DEA license with appropriate schedules.
Familiarity with, and efficient use of, electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of best practices in opioid stewardship and multimodal pain management.
Ability to build strong patient relationships and foster trust.
Strong diagnostic, procedural, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Strong comprehension of HIPAA.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in using office productivity software such as Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make informed judgements.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with internal and external partners.
Demonstrates professional leadership skills through effective communication, work habits, attitude, inter-personal skills, initiative, and follow through.
