Description

St. Joseph’s Health Cardiovascular Institute is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our cardiovascular team in Watertown, NY. This opportunity is for an advanced practice provider to work a 32 hour per week schedule in an outpatient Cardiology practice, no hospital rounding.  

Position Details

• Manage patients with chronic and acute cardiac conditions
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and manage post-procedure and access-site complications
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists to perform physical exams and diagnostic testing
• No inpatient rounding and no on-call responsibilities

• Predictable Monday-Friday 32 hour week schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Work alongside experienced Cardiologists and APPs

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Cardiology experience preferred, but new grads welcome
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care

Compensation

• Competitive salary range: $118,602 – $139,922 
• Starting bonus: $5,000
• The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality performance incentives, or other forms of cash compensation. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, experience, and market factors in accordance with State law.
