Colon and Rectal Surgery Advanced Practice Provider
Opening in Melbourne, Florida
Health First is seeking an experienced APP to join our NEW Colorectal Program at Health First Medical Group in Melbourne, FL.
Position Highlights:
- Partner in the development of a new practice, collaborating with colorectal surgeons and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain a Monday–Friday clinic schedule (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) including inpatient rounding for post-operative recovery.
- Manage office-based practice call only.
- Focus on in-office procedures, including rubber band ligation and anorectal manometry.
- Provide longitudinal care for chronic patients with an emphasis on building long-term relationships.
- Minimum 1–2 years of surgical or inpatient APP experience required; colorectal or general surgery background preferred.
- Must possess an active Florida Medical License.
Work Experience
- Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Active or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
- National certification appropriate to licensure and role
- BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Case and/or procedure logs available for credentialing
