Critical Care Nurse Practitioner - Louisiana, Night Shifts, Flexible Schedule

Night coverage needed in a high-acuity CTICU in New Orleans; consistent or PRN dates welcome.

Highlights

• Solo APP shifts with physician backup
• High-acuity transplant and ECMO patients

Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiothoracic ICU within an academic medical center
• Adult-only patient population
• Hospital support staff on-site
• EPIC charting system

Schedule

• 7:00 PM-7:00 AM night shifts
• Typically 8-10 patients per shift
• Shared admit rotation with partner hospital
• Start as early as this month

Cases and Procedures

• ICU rounds and consults
• Ventilator and ECMO management
• Central lines and admissions
• No call required

Requirements

• ACNP only (FNPs not accepted)
• Louisiana license or IMLC LOQ
• DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
