Position Overview:
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, adaptable clinician who enjoys caring for patients across the lifespan in both a primary care and urgent care environment. This position offers the opportunity to practice with a high degree of independence while being supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients across the lifespan.
Manage both acute urgent care visits (minor injuries, infections, respiratory illnesses, etc.) and chronic disease management (hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, etc.).
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and labs.
Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Collaborate with supervising physician and multidisciplinary team as needed.
Document encounters clearly and efficiently in the EMR system.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, preventive health, and wellness.
Qualifications:
Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
Active NJ license in good standing.
DEA license & NJ CDS license (or ability to obtain).
Experience in family practice, urgent care, or emergency medicine (new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered).
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
