Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. We are an established Outpatient Spine Specialist Clinic focusing on conservative non-surgical treatment for patients with back and neck pain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate expertise in outpatient medical settings. As a Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Duties:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
Provide education and counseling to patients regarding health management and disease prevention.
Prescribe medications as needed.
Collaborate with Supervising Physician to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Adjust conservative care treatment plans.
Engage in telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Texas.
Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinical Works
Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10).
Strong clinical skills in areas such as musculoskeletal medicine.
BLS Certification
Ability to perform triage assessments and manage urgent care situations effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Two years of clinical experience, preferably in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, but not required.
