Nighttime Hospitalist APP Opportunity in West TX

You're stepping into a high-support inpatient setting where your work is valued and your schedule is predictable. This Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) role is built for clinicians who enjoy collaborative rounding without ICU or procedure pressure. Practice Overview

• Join an established inpatient hospitalist service at a respected community hospital with strong specialty support
• Work alongside a dedicated physician nocturnist and existing nighttime APP team (expansion role)
• Closed ICU model with no ICU management responsibilities
• No procedures required; focus on overnight inpatient management and care coordination
• APP is not responsible for codes, admissions, or rapid responses (handled by physician nocturnist)

Schedule

• 7-on / 7-off block schedule (Tuesday-Monday rotation)
• Day shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Manage an approximate 90-patient inpatient census overnight in a team-based model
• Inpatient-only coverage using Cerner EMR

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $160,000
• Bonuses: $10,000 quality bonus
• $10,000 sign-on bonus

Candidate Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with ability to practice as an inpatient hospitalist APP in Texas
• Hospitalist/inpatient experience preferred (reach out to discuss what level is needed)
• Ability to manage inpatient care overnight in a structured, team-based setting
