Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Mobile Wound Care | Rhode Island
Flexible Schedule | High Per-Visit Pay | Training Provided
Midwest Wellness & Wound Care is a physician-led, multi-state mobile wound-care practice expanding in Rhode Island. We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide advanced wound care services to patients in homes, SNFs, and assisted living facilities.
This is an independent, flexible role ideal for NPs who want autonomy, predictable compensation, and meaningful clinical work.
Position Highlights
- Compensation: $150 per patient per visit
- Schedule: Flexible – see patients on your own time
- Visits: Most patients require 2–3 visits per week
- Employment Type: 1099 independent contractor
- Training: Comprehensive wound-care training provided
- Malpractice Insurance: Covered by the company
- No call | No nights | No weekends (unless you choose
Requirements
Clinical Responsibilities
- Perform wound assessments and measurements
- Debridement (training provided if needed)
- Apply advanced wound therapies (e.g., wound matrices, adjunctive modalities)
- Document visits in our EMR
- Coordinate care with supervising physician and facility staff
Requirements - Active Rhode Island Nurse Practitioner license
- Board-certified NP (FNP, AGNP preferred)
- Reliable transportation for local travel
- Comfortable working independently
- Wound care experience preferred but NOT required
