Advanced Practice Provider Preadmission Testing Full Time Fayetteville, GA
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Preadmission Testing Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Our preadmission testing position work Monday through Friday 08:00 16:30/ 09:30-18:00 schedule offering a consistent and flexible lifestyle.

Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Perform Pre-Anesthesia Screening assessments to determine if a patient is optimized for planned anesthetic.
- Examine, evaluate, and treat patients with serious medical conditions, illness or injuries.
- Assigns ASA Physical Status Score.
- Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patients medical record to include airway assessments, Mallampati score, heart and lung sounds.
- Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care.
- Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings.
- Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise. Apply preventative and alternative treatment strategies for possible procedural complications.
- Collaborate with Anesthesiologists to develop a strong working knowledge of Pre- Anesthesia testing Protocols and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
