Collaborating with a clinic in Madison, Wisconsin, that has an opportunity for a Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: 8-hour day shifts
• Setting: Outpatient clinic
• Duties: Conduct initial assessments for new patients, manage follow-up care for stable patients, and interpret sleep study results
• Support Staff: Sleep Medicine physicians
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Wisconsin state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• One year of work experience as Pulmonology Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
