Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location: Jackson Heights, NY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing pediatric practice in Jackson Heights, NY. This role is designed for an experienced professional who is passionate about providing high-quality care to children and supporting our vibrant local community. Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Care: Provide well-child visits, sick visits, developmental assessments, and preventive health education.
• Clinical Management: Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Collaboration: Work closely with pediatricians, nurses, and support staff to deliver patient-centered care.
• Family Education: Educate families on growth, nutrition, immunizations, and overall child wellness.
• Language Support: Effectively communicate with and treat Spanish-speaking patients and families. Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with medical and legal standards using our EMR system.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a pediatric setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in eClinicalWorks (ECW) EMR system is preferred.
• Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Education: Master’s degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Licensure: Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Certification: Certification in Pediatrics with a strong pediatric background.
• Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
