NURSE PRACTITIONER, FULL TIME, MIAMI SW
Latinos Salud is seeking a qualified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to work in our Wellness Clinic. This is a full-time, on-site role.
The ARNP will provide direct patient care, conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage health conditions, and prescribe treatment plans for patients. Central to our Wellness Clinic mission, the ARNP will screen clients interested in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV prevention, DoxyPEP for STD prevention, nPEP for emergency HIV prevention, and also administer treatment for sexually transmitted infections. The Practitioner will also manage patients’ chronic conditions, such as HIV, hypertension, diabetes, and HCV, and administer vaccines as needed. Responsibilities also include working collaboratively with the healthcare team, delivering counseling services, and educating patients on health management strategies. Additional duties include maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.
Salary will be based on a rate of $55 to $73 per hour, depending on experience (those certified as Autonomous ARNP, and credentialed in network with key insurers, will merit the higher salary range). The position requires a candidate who will reflect the culture of our priority populations and pass no judgment on those seeking to protect themselves with PrEP. Candidates must be bi-lingual (English / Spanish), or trilingual (including Creole). Strong preference for gay Latino candidates who can personally relate to the primary populations served.
Candidates must provide references, transcripts, and proof of current FL certification. Must have own transportation and be willing to work a flexible schedule.
