Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients suffering fromchronic pain. You will be responsible for physical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with the physician for scheduling interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories and physical exams.
Develop and implement evidence-based pain management plans involving pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (MRI, X-ray, EMG) to pinpoint the source of pain.
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, ergonomic habits, and the safe use of medications.
Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and coordinate care with physicians, physical therapists, and specialists.
Requirements
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active Nurse Practitioner license in the State of New York.
Certifications: Current DEA registration and NPI number. Board certification (ANCC/AANP) required.
Experience: [1–3] years of experience in Pain Management, Orthopedics, or PM&R preferred New graduates with a strong interest in pain management are welcome to apply.
