About Us
Flagstaff Surgical Associates (FSA) is a multi-specialty medical group with 32 physicians and advanced practice providers. We proudly serve Northern Arizona by offering comprehensive care in Urology, General Surgery/Trauma, Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT)-including Allergy & Audiology, and Gastroenterology.
Our Allergy group provides a wide scope of services including allergy testing, immunotherapy, asthma management, and routine ENT-adjacent care.
Position Overview
Our Allergy Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for independent patient evaluation, allergy testing and interpretation, ongoing medical management, patient education, and long-term treatment planning for individuals with allergic and immunological conditions.
You will work closely with our ENT and Audiology physicians, clinical staff, and immunotherapy team to deliver exceptional outpatient care.
Primary Responsibilities
Allergy Evaluation & Testing Conduct comprehensive allergy-focused histories and physical examinations Order, perform, and interpret allergy testing (skin testing, patch testing, spirometry as applicable) Identify and evaluate environmental, food, and seasonal allergen sensitivities
Patient Management & Treatment Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage allergic rhinitis, asthma, chronic sinusitis, urticaria, eczema, and related conditions Prescribe medications, adjust therapies, and monitor treatment response Oversee initiation and titration of allergy immunotherapy Provide asthma action plans and inhaler/nebulizer education
Patient Education & Support Counsel patients and families on allergen avoidance strategies Review test results, diagnoses, and treatment options Provide long-term care guidance and follow-up support
Administrative & Collaborative Duties Document patient encounters thoroughly within the EMR systems Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and immunotherapy staff Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory standards

Flexible Schedule – Part-Time or Full-Time opportunity*
Competitive Compensation:
oFull-Time: $100,000 – $120,000/year (DOE)
oPart-Time: $60,000 – $72,500/year (DOE)

Qualifications
Required: Ability to commute or relocate to Flagstaff, AZ before start date Required: Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain) Preferred: Experience in Allergy, Primary Care, ENT, Pulmonology, or Immunology Preferred: Experience with EMR systems Strong interest in long-term allergy management and patient education
