Description
Join the Department of Surgery at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center working as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care as part of a Night Trauma Call Team. In-hospital night team is comprised of 5 members including 1 attending, 3 residents and 1 ACNP. Provide coverage of a 20 bed TSICU, 6 bed BICU and 1-3 beds in the Neuro ICU. Shifts are 12 hours, 7 on/7 off schedule at University Medical Center (UMC) Level 1 Trauma. Required privileges include Arterial and Central Line placement, Intubation & Chest Tubes.

Requirements
Required:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a nurse practitioner from an approved certification program recognized by Texas Board of Nursing. Current R.N. license as approved by the Texas Board of Nursing or ability to transfer license to Texas. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from an approved certification program as recognized by Texas Board of Nursing or ability to transfer certification to Texas.
