Description
SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in Harrah, Oklahoma; A new facility built in February of 2022!
Position Highlights:
- Schedule: 14 twelve-hour shifts per month
- Operation: Clinic operates 7 days a week
- Practice Layout: 5 exam rooms and 1 procedure room
- Staffing: Current practicing NP and dedicated support team
- Including Medical Assistants and Office Assistant support
- On-site Services: Laboratory services available
- Patient Population: Treat patients of all ages
- Existing panel of patients
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
- Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing provider
- Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- PA: NCCPA
- NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP required)
- Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
- BLS certification
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- EHR proficiency - EPIC
- Willingness to work occasional weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast track experience
- Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
- Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
