Were seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Psychiatry team in Livonia, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Shared panel model utilized. Small portion of FTE is allocated to support inbox management and/ supporting intake assessments for level of care determination. 
• Schedule:Monday- Friday 8:00- 5:00 PM
  • Flexibility available in FTE distribution
• Location: Livonia, Michigan
• Specialty: Psychiatry
• Hospital Info: Clinic supports a residency program with close collaboration alongside faculty. Includes support from psychotherapists
• Team Size: 3 attending physicians and 9 residents
• Call Requirements: None

Requirements

• Psychiatric experience required
• Requirement for NPs: PMHNP
• Graduate-level experience for PAs
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement
• APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (must be maintained)/ ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
• Supporting management of inbox
• Additional opportunities to perform psycho-social intake assessments
