- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Description
LM Granger is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner for our TMD, Headache, Lifestyle, and Sleep Medicine practice in Granger, IN — a Monday through Thursday schedule, a genuinely collaborative team, and a clinical scope that expands as you do.
This role is built for an NP who wants to own their schedule, take real pride in the new patient experience, and be part of a practice where the work is interesting and the training never stops. No background in TMJ or sleep medicine required — we provide full hands-on clinical training. What we can't teach is the ability to meet a patient where they are, find the root of the problem, and give them real confidence that things can change.
Who You Are
Relational & Individually Tailored. You build genuine relationships with patients and staff, and you welcome chances to connect with referring providers and the wider community. We’ll give you the tools and introductions to turn the right professional contacts into collaborative working relationships, and we want someone who finds that energizing rather than draining. You treat every patient as their own case: each arrives with a different story and a different road to their victory, and your job is to walk it with them, not push them through a template.
Composed, Warm, and Energizing. You bring steady energy and real warmth — the kind that holds up when patients are tough, anxious, or hurting. Your optimism is grounded in experience, and people leave your visits feeling a little lighter.
Adaptable & Unflappable. Plans shift, patients surprise you, schedules go sideways. You adjust without drama and hold your composure when the wheels get wobbly. The team trusts you because you don’t rattle.
Decisive & Action-Oriented. You don’t meander in problems, you move to solve them. Once a patient has been heard, you act — decisions get made, plans move forward, treatment doesn’t stall. Patients leave feeling both listened to and helped.
Rigorous, Disciplined, and Respectful. You care about craft. Your notes are clean, your follow-up is consistent, nothing slips through the cracks. You treat staff, patients, and referring providers with the respect you’d want in return — because in a specialty practice, the details are how trust gets built.

What You’ll Do
Work within a truly rare private practice model — collaborating daily with a team of nurse practitioners, dentists, oral surgeons, orthodontists, osteopathic providers and myofunctional therapists under one roof. Most NPs never practice in an environment like this.
- Own your clinical schedule — independently examine new patients, frame their entire care experience from the first visit forward, build their treatment plan, and drive it forward.
- Perform physical medicine modalities, including laser therapy (photobiomodulation), injection therapy (trigger points, prolotherapy, PRP, PRF, nerve blocks) manual therapy, and fascial releases
- Guide patients through their health journey — monitoring blood chemistry, addressing nutritional deficiencies, and supporting the body’s ability to heal through normalized function, nasal breathing, and restorative sleep
