Hackensack Meridian Health (HMH) is looking for an experienced APN to manage inpatient consults and outpatient clinic care for our Otolaryngology patients. In this dynamic role, you will enjoy a balanced mix of managing inpatient consults and providing care in our outpatient clinic. You will serve as a clinical leader, utilizing evidence-based medicine to assess, plan, and implement care while mentoring the next generation of nursing professionals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clinical Excellence: Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostics, and manage medical and surgical conditions for Otolaryngology patients.
- Care Coordination: Lead inpatient consults and outpatient visits, ensuring seamless transitions of care and facilitating daily interdisciplinary rounds.
- Evidence-Based Practice: Prescribe medications safely, apply value-based medicine, and integrate the latest clinical innovations into your daily practice.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a clinical resource for the multidisciplinary team, mentor fellow APNs and students, and fiercely advocate for patients and their families.
- Professional Growth: Participate in clinical research, peer review, and seek opportunities to elevate HMH’s APN practice locally, nationally, and internationally through publications and presentations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of APN experience. A background in a surgical specialty, critical care, or emergency medicine is required. (Experience or a demonstrated passion for Otolaryngology is highly preferred!)
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (NLN/AACN accredited).
- Licensure: Active NJ State RN and APN Licenses.
- Certifications: Board Certified by AANP or ANCC. BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred.
- Credentials: Active NPI, CDS, and DEA registration with prescriptive authority in New Jersey.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.

COMPENSATION:
Minimum Starting Base Salary: $156,644.80 Annually
