Overview
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide OR and inpatient support to AO Fox Memorial Hospital affiliate and outpatient clinics in Oneonta as well as the Delhi, Sidney and Norwich locations.

Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established General Surgery team of 2 Surgeons and 2 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
- Responsibilities include working in outpatient clinics as well as OR first assist and inpatient at affiliate AO Fox Memorial Hospital.
- Monday-Friday coverage – includes rotating first call responsibilities for AO Fox Hospital inpatient and ED services
- Rotating weekend call – 4 hour shirt Saturday & Sunday – no overnight call required
- Previous surgical experience preferred
- Salary Range: $127,803 - $144,035 plus performance-based compensation. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications - National Certification as a Physician Assistant – NCCPA or NP
- NYS Licensure
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- DEA Required
