Location: Denton, TX (With flexibility to float to Carrollton, TX if needed)
Employment Type: Open to Full-Time, Part-Time, or Locum-to-Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
As an advanced practice provider, you will deliver exceptional urgent and non-urgent medical care in accordance with our clinical standards. Your day-to-day will include:
Clinical Care: Obtain accurate HPIs, perform physical exams, and diagnose/manage acute illnesses and minor injuries.
Procedures: Perform essential urgent care procedures, including wound repairs (suturing/dermabond), abscess drainage, basic splinting, and interpreting diagnostic/lab tests.
Continuum of Care: Provide health education, prescribe appropriate pharmacological therapies, coordinate referrals to specialists, and arrange hospital transfers when acute stabilization is required.
Documentation & Operations: Maintain precise, timely charting within our electronic medical records system and assist with light administrative clinical duties.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
Education & Licensure: Master’s degree from an accredited university. Must hold an active, unencumbered license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with the State of Texas (Texas Medical Board).
Certifications: Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
Experience: Previous dedicated clinical experience in pediatrics is required. Extensive knowledge of acute pediatric conditions and treatments is essential.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but NOT required—we welcome all qualified applicants who love working with children and families.
Adaptability: Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Schedule & Environment Details:
Flexibility: Shift requirements will vary based on Full-Time/Part-Time status. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis (minimum requirement of 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday). Must be willing to float between locations if necessary.
Safety First: Because we handle acute pediatric illnesses, you will be exposed to various communicable diseases (including COVID-19). We strictly prioritize staff safety and provide full, proper PPE for every shift.
