Job Title: Spine Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
Team: Spine | Reports to: Dr. Derek Watson
Location: North Raleigh and Wendell Falls (Raleigh, NC)
Status: Full-Time

OrthoNC is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Spine Team, working directly with renowned Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician Dr. Derek Watson. This is a unique opportunity to thrive in a high-volume, collaborative environment that provides outstanding care to non-operative spine patients in an outpatient setting.
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive spine care in clinical settings
- Collaborate daily with Dr. Watson, fellow APPs, and the broader clinical team
- Evaluate and manage patients independently and under physician supervision
- Interpret imaging studies including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans
- Gain hands-on experience treating both acute and chronic spinal conditions
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed PA or NP (board-certified) in North Carolina
- Experience in orthopedics or neurology preferred - new grads with strong drive welcome
- Quick-thinking, detail-oriented, and able to multitask efficiently
- Passionate about teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care
- Comfortable taking initiative, delegating tasks, and adapting to fast-paced settings
- A genuine interest in spine care and a commitment to continuous growth
